Singer-Songwriter Leroy Waters was born and raised in Woodruff Sc. He's been performing professionally since the age of 18. Started his career off singing with R&B group Xclusive. Inking a production deal with New York based Utopia/Ira Pittelman Ent. After spending over a year in the deal with utopia there became a big shift in the R&B music buisness and groups wasn't as popular as before. During the time that Leroy was with the group, with the help of Manager Jeff Dixon (DTP records/Ludacris) he was personally chosen to perform and record a record with Elektra records Hip Hop great Grand Puba of Brand Nubian. With the help of Darrin "Dewitt" Henson who was the choreographer Leroy would take the first step at becoming a solo artist. Leroy with the help of friend and associate producer Suzette Breitbart would ink his solo deal with Moonglow/Heartland/universal. Over the years Leroy would go on to work with super producers Dave "Jam" Hall (Kci&jojo-Ray J-Horace Brown-Mariah Carey) and P-Version (Wu-Tang - k 7 - Method Man - Mark Anthony). He would go on to perform in venues from Ga. to New York. opening up for some of the biggest names in music Jon B, Dave Hollister , LL Cool J, Solo, Xscape, Druhill, KutKlose, Q Parker of 112 and Calvin Richardson to name a few. As we fast forward to 2023 Leroy Waters love for music has him ready to continue putting out good easy listening R&B/Soul Music.
Leroy Waters experience and years of performing has molded him into a season singer, songwriter and performer. He has written over 50 original songs and released 2 studio albums titled Here I Come and self title Leroy Waters. He is available for weddings, festivals, concerts and private events.
